Insomniac has revealed that Davison Carvalho, the creative director for the upcoming Marvel's Spider-Man 2, brings a work history that includes concept art experience for Doctor Strange and other MCU films. Currently, the follow-up to the massively successful Marvel's Spider-Man has no official release date but is rumored to make its debut sometime in 2023. Because of this, development updates could begin releasing towards the end of the year.
Fans got their first look at Marvel's Spider-Man 2 back in September of last year, introducing a few new elements for the sequel such as the popular antagonists Venom and Kraven. On the same day, Insomniac also revealed a game centered on Wolverine that will be set in the same universe as its Spider-Man titles. To help bring the worlds of X-men and Spider-Man together, crew members who worked on the original PS4 Spider-Man will be a part of the new game's development. This has left some roles to be filled for Spider-Man 2, and it appears Insomniac has made some informed choices.
