Though the heart (❤️) is the fourth most popular emoji overall, it's conspicuously absent from some apps—perhaps surprisingly, dating apps. Bumble, Hinge, and Tinder users steer clear of such a strong commitment, though the heart is one of the top five for Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter, and WhatsApp.
