An Elden Ring player has painted an impressive rendition of Albinaurics walking in the snow using Microsoft Paint. Locations inElden Ring range from celestial and awe-inspiring to dark, rugged, and foreboding, and this painting depicts the Albinaurics in a setting fitting to the more rugged aspects of the game.
Albinaurics are humanoid enemies in Elden Ring, said to have been artificially made “by human hands.” The Albinaurics come in two distinct forms, the First Generation which looks much closer to being human, and the Second Generation which looks a lot more mutated. The name can also be roughly translated to «bright/white aura» in Latin. In true Soulsborne fashion, the lore behind the Albinaurics is never fully revealed, though it is heavily implied that due to being man-made, they are not blessed with Grace from the Erdtree, meaning that many are drawn to seek salvation in another tree, Miquella's Haligtree.
Elden Ring Art Imagines How Rykard Would Look in an NES Game
Reddit user Ssosme’s artistic rendering depicts a trio of Second Generation Albinaurics walking through the snow toward the Erdtree rather than the Haligtree. The purpose of the Haligtree is meant to be a refuge for those that are shunned by the rest of the world, with Miquella’s belief that all living things should thrive, while the Erdtree is quite selective about who receives its Grace. While some believe that the Erdtree is basically a giant parasite, it is undeniably a stunning feature of Elden Ring, and Ssosme managed to capture its beauty in MS Paint.
Ssosme’s artwork looks very painterly and is rich with textures, capturing the landscape in a way that matches its Romantic era inspirations, previously recaptured in a fan’s gorgeous Liurnia
