A month and a half after its initial release, Elden Ring continues to hold a seat near the top of the Steam charts in terms of active players. Between its challenging boss fights, an open world filled to the brim with content, and plenty of secrets for players to discover, Elden Ring has plenty of features to satisfy the most hardcore FromSoftware veteran as well as the most insatiable video game explorer.
On top of this massive amount of content is the option to play it alone or with friends. Sometimes invaders are met with friendship, like a blue hunter helping an Elden Ring invader find an AFK farmer; other times, invaders are met with a squadron of high-level players using powerful builds. Recently, an event more akin to the former appeared online when an invader found themselves face-to-face with Shrek and Fiona.
Reddit user SuperStick15 captured the moment they invaded two players that had a striking resemblance to Shrek and Fiona. Though the pair were not quite as bulky as their on-screen counterparts, Shrek did proceed to let out a fierce roar towards SuperStick15, letting it be known he would go down fighting.
