Elden Ring's Arts of War adds an interesting take to the gameplay throughout the different adventures of many Tarnished. While Weapon Arts can be learned from every weapon after picking it up, there are different aspects that players can learn by defeating a special enemy. One of those enemies are the Crucible Knights that can be found throughout the world of Elden Ring.
A Crucible Knight can come from places that aren't usually as obvious and they are foreboding enemies possessing great strength but a reward after defeating. Defeating one of these Knights grants players an aspect of The Crucible. These are spells that allow them to do things like summon a tail from thin air or materialize a horn. Dragon-like aspects without fully materializing a dragon, like the incantations that are received from Elden Ring's dragon communion.

Because of the vastness Elden Ring and the Lands in Between, finding a Crucible Knight can seem almost random. However, they are in specific places and it's easy to find them once you know where they are. There are three Crucible Knights around and each one gifts players a different aspect.
The easiest Crucible Aspect to get in Elden Ring is the Aspect of the Crucible: Tail. This can be acquired by going to the Limgrave region and finding the strange Stormhill Evergaol alter. The glowing circle in the center leads to a rift between worlds where the knight awaits. This is a 1v1 as the Elden Ring player invades their space. Though this usually is the first experience of a Crucible Knight it's not mandatory and can be missed or skipped.
