The Mountaintops of the Giants is one of the last areas players can explore before completing Elden Ring, and it’s filled with powerful bosses. While there aren’t many bosses to defeat in the main questline, the Mountaintops are filled with powerful monsters and demanding boss fights. Tarnished looking to test their skills and stock up on runes should investigate some of the optional bosses located throughout the Mountaintops, which provides plenty of optional content that develops Elden Ring’s world and characters. Unfortunately, as a late-game area, players may have to wait dozens of hours before unlocking these encounters.
Elden Ring is FromSoftware’s latest Soulslike game that explores a new universe. Players begin their journey as a Tarnished, having been resurrected in the Lands Between following the Shattering. The land is left without a leader following Queen Marika’s betrayal, forcing players to follow a golden trail to become the next Elden Lord. As players progress, enemies and bosses become far more powerful and deadly while also providing more runes and items to better equip the Tarnished in their quest.
