A Tweet from Ross Young, a display supply chain expert with a strong track record, said to expect a much larger order from Samsung this year, more than double that of the previous generation. Young also suggested that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 could have a lower price. Of course, higher volumes reduce costs, and perhaps Samsung is planning on passing some of those savings on to the customer to push its advantage by selling an overwhelming majority of foldable phones before competitors can ramp their production. Another leading Samsung tipster, Ice Universe, tweeted that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be smaller and lighter than the Z Fold 3.
