A talented Trials Rising modder designed an Elden Ring mod that features sites of Grace-inspired checkpoints and even an Erdtree. Countless Elden Ring mods have hit the web since the role-playing title's release in late February of this year. Some fan-made builds introduce quality of life changes, like reducing load times or adding coveted transmog features. Meanwhile, other PC mods bring in odd additions such as the ability to transform the already frightening Tree Sentinel into a Thomas the Tank Engine-esque figure.
Elden Ring hit store shelves roughly two and a half years after its original E3 2019 announcement. Hardly anyone would argue that it wasn't worth the wait, though. Building upon the foundation laid in FromSoftware's celebrated Soulsborne series, Elden Ring manages to take the well-worn open-world formula and wring out a new approach to exploration and quest-based content. Evidently, Elden Ring's appeal stretches beyond its RPG qualities since modders have found ways of bringing the world of FromSoftware's latest opus to other genres.

The player passes beneath the occasional stone pillar and flips over a steeple every so often, all while Elden Ring's mysterious Erdtree looms in the background.
