WWE has always enjoyed success in the gaming community, whether during the Smackdown vs. RAW era or the more recent WWE 2K era. However, recent 2K games have faltered due to an abundance of bugs and a lack of in-depth game modes to offer longevity. EA could reinvigorate the franchise by introducing elements found in games like FIFA and Madden. Yet there are also features like WWE 2K’s Creation Suite that could be implemented in other EA games to give fans more to do.

WWE 2K22 successfully re-implemented entertaining storylines via the MyRise system, which could add a certain level of depth to series like FIFA and Madden.
Career Modes in FIFA, Madden, and UFC could have many features that work toward providing a simulation mode in which gamers meeting certain objectives through matches or fights. However, a few FIFA titles in recent history have had a story mode that focused on a single pre-built character. Similar storylines in a variety of sports titles could benefit from WWE games' ability to write out compelling plots.
