EA recently held a meeting with its investors, where the gaming publisher announced that between the months of January and April 2023, it will have put out four new games. In previous investor meetings, EA has been known to add and remove information for whatever purpose, such as in February of this year when the company didn't report its quarterly sales of Battlefield 2042. However, EA has given some more details on these upcoming titles so that they seem like less of an empty promise.
So far, within its four upcoming games of 2023, EA has said it will release a remake, a sports title, a partner title, and a major unannounced IP. For many fans, the remake game EA is working on is a fairly obvious one and the majority of gamers are expecting it to be the Dead Space reboot. While Dead Space has no certain release date as yet, it is expected to come in early 2023 and has recently released a new gameplay video.
FIFA Will Be Working With Other Developers After Split from EA
Some fans have also guessed that the sports title could be the return of NCAA College Football from EA. While the publisher does have its final FIFA game, Madden 23, and NHL 23 coming up, those releases are set for later in 2022, and not 2023, meaning that whatever sports game EA is referencing in this investors call is currently unconfirmed. The partner title is where fans don't have much of an idea, though the guess is that the partner in question will be from one of the various studios EA publishes games for. In terms of the unannounced major IP, even less is known, but that hasn't stopped the online community from theorizing.
