Parkour with zombies sequel Dying Light 2 Stay Human has received a patch specifically on Xbox that brings with it plenty of fixes and improvements that should make traversing its broken open world a smoother and more enjoyable experience on Microsoft’s platforms.
Developer Techland has released Dying Light 2 update 1.2.0 on Xbox. The patch brings with it important fixes and improvements, not least new graphics modes that promise 60 FPS parkour action. Thanks to the latest Dying Light 2 Xbox update, Series X players have a new Balanced Mode that runs in 60 FPS whilst Series S users have a new Performance Mode that brings 60 FPS to the less-powerful digital-only console.
Other fixes look similar to those found in the PC version’s 1.2.0 update, including fixes to Nightrunner Tools that mean you should now unlock the paraglider, grappling hook, and PK crossbow upgrades properly. This is a big update.
Alongside the fixes and improvements detailed above, you’ll also find changes to combat and enemies, including Biters, which will now latch onto you more often during the day, and Howlers, which are now harder to kill thanks to an increase in ranged weapon damage resistance.
