Dying Light 2 Launches Bloody Summer Event
Dying Light 2: Stay Human is Techland's 2022 sequel to Dying Light and is also a zombie survival game set in an open world with a focus on parkour traversal mechanics and first-person melee combat. Out since February, Dying Light 2 is still a widely popular game, and fans will be excited to engage in the new Bloody Summer Event, which starts today and runs until July 7.
The Bloody Summer Event is «all about carnage and making the streets of the City run red with the blood of your opponents,» according to Techland. The event entails players playing the game normally, but with the caveat of rewards being offered specifically for cutting off enemy limbs. So, using the game's paraglider and parkour mechanics will be all the more important as players will benefit from getting from area to area faster in order to increase their rewards.

The Bloody Summer Event comes right on the heels of the new chapter recently added to the game, In The Footsteps of a Nightrunner. This free DLC adds an entirely new story chapter that introduces live-service play options, including daily and weekly missions incentivized by various rewards and upgrades. The Bloody Summer Event adds on to this with more missions and quotas for players to reach, namely the limb-chopping goals, that also offer players various rewards.
