In this week's GG WoW video, Dratnos and Tettles take a look at the new Encrypted affix! You can learn more on the Encrypted affix from this article explaining how it works. Encrypted Affix Explained Dratnos and Tettles' initial reactions are mostly positive — the Relics and the Automa have low enough health totals and damage numbers that they don't threaten to brick wall your dungeon run, which is a refreshing change after the previous two seasonal affixes, and is a big improvement over what a Void Emissary in the middle of a tough pull could do in BFA.
The Cypher buffs are nice bonuses although there is maybe room for some changes to be made there — as it stands, the Vy Cypher's cooldown recovery seems to be mostly worse than the Wo Cypher's haste, and the Wo Automa is also easier to handle than the Vy (though neither are extremely dangerous). Overall, Dratnos and Tettles are very optimistic about the Encrypted affix, and love the idea of the Urh Cypher granting a stealth effect to create an interesting situational choice.
The second part of the video looks at the newly discovered Keystone Hero achievement, which is likely one way to earn maximum item level conduits — there is also Placeholder reward text that suggests there may be an additional reward for reaching this level. Dratnos and Tettles speculate about some potential cosmetics, such as another title or a transmog piece or ensemble, and they also discuss the idea of something like even higher item level valor upgrades which has some potential pitfalls but could help reduce the disadvantage that high Mythic plus focused players have in gear.
