Jurassic World: Dominion received harsh reviews from critics leading to a low Rotten Tomatoes score, but its Rotten Tomatoes audience score tells a different story. Every movie in the franchise has been popular at the box office, but critics and audiences have given a variety of different Rotten Tomatoes scores, so how do Jurassic World: Dominion’s Rotten Tomatoes scores compare to the rest of the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies?
The original Jurassic Park movie released in 1993 to critical celebration and became the highest grossing movie of all time (until it was unseated by Titanic in 1997), and while the sequels were still relative box office hits, the only other Jurassic movie to even earn a Fresh score was the Jurassic World soft reboot in 2015. Despite the huge variance in Rotten Tomatoes scores, the movies have retained popularity and are usually at least moderately successful at the box office.

While franchises that last as long as the Jurassic franchise and earn as much at the box office typically have good track record with reviews and earn high Rotten Tomatoes scores, the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies never quite found a reliable groove. Their box office performance has been mostly reliable, but the movies with Rotten scores haven’t performed as well as the movies with Fresh scores, which makes Jurassic World: Dominion’s critic and audience Rotten Tomatoes scores even more interesting.
