Warning: SPOILERS Below for Jurassic World: Dominion!
Jurassic World: Dominion has a similar ending to The Lost World: Jurassic Park, which indicates the franchise is not over yet. The ending of Jurassic World: Dominion concludes with the movie's BioSyn compound being designated a dinosaur sanctuary, with the surviving dinosaurs being allowed to roam free there (though some dinosaurs are also still out in the wider world.) While this seemingly wraps up the film, and with it the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies, it is actually surprisingly similar to the ending of 1997's The Lost World: Jurassic Park.
In The Lost World, after the T-Rex is unleashed upon San Diego in InGen's plan to set up the dinosaur park in the city, the dinosaur is captured and returned to the company's «Site B», Isla Sorna. The Costa Rican government then adopts the idea originally conceived by former InGen CEO John Hammond (Sir Richard Attenborough) for Isla Sorna to be a wildlife preserve for the dinosaurs to survive in without a human presence. While the ending on Isla Sorna (one of the «Five Deaths») could have theoretically concluded the Jurassic Park series, it only opened it up for more.

The 2001 sequel Jurassic Park III saw Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) being pulled into another dinosaur adventure when a divorced couple recruit him (through some deceptive means) into helping rescue their son Eric (Trevor Morgan), who was stranded on Isla Sorna after a para-sailing accident.
