New set photos show former Doctor Whoactors David Tennant and Catherine Tate filming with the new Rose character. The actors are filming for the 60th reunion Doctor Who special. Tennant starred as the tenth doctor back in the first season of the Russell T. Davies revival of Doctor Who in 2005. Tate starred alongside Tennant as Donna Noble, one of the companions of the doctor. The 60th anniversary special will debut sometime in 2023.

It is not yet known whether Finney’s Rose will be the same character as Billie Piper’s Rose Tyler, who debuted in 2005, or just a coincidental namesake.
