The first set of the latest arc is, a more lighthearted set after the arc-ending that preceded it. As usual, an Illumineer's Trove has been released for the set and features a host of goodies, including 8 booster packs, inside a collectible box. Releasing at the same time are new Lorebook card portfolios, which are perfect for collectors wanting to store their latest cards.
The set itself features over 200 cards, which has become fairly standard for a new set. Characters from,,, and make up a large portion of the cards, although regulars like Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse, and Maleficent all appear here, too. Overlooked Disney IPs like get a chance to shine here, and it's great to see multiple cards dedicated to Clarabelle Cow as well.
The Illumineer's Trove for is made with collectors in mind, but it's also a great way to get multiple booster packs for deck-building. Those wanting to jump straight in with decks, though, will be better off grabbing one of the Starter Decks that are available now. It's not a bad haul, but here's holding out hope the booklets that were once included make a comeback eventually. The dividers are great for anyone who wants to use the storage box to hold their new cards, and the Lore counter is a helpful addition.
Shimmering Skies adds plenty of new valuable cards to Disney Lorcana, and some of the Enchanted options are commanding incredibly high prices.
In terms of new cards, the new Sugar Rush cards from are definitely interesting. Multiple cards let the character challenge in the turn they're played, and the ink costs are all relatively low. Highlighted cards within the set also include «Elsa — The Fifth Spirit» and «Kronk — Head of Security.» Of course, the booster packs are all luck-of-the-draw, so there's no guarantee someone will pull these cards. They all make nice assets to, though.
