Disney Dreamlight Valley Update Will Finally Fix A Fan-Favorite Character
One character has finally received a much-needed upgrade. brings Disney's beloved characters to life and lets fans interact with their favorites. The game has won many fans over with its faithful in-game recreations of Disney characters. One movie protagonist, however, has been criticized for her design since the game's release.
An eagle-eyed player has spotted a refreshing update to the classic Disney character. Redditor WandAustin noticed Belle hanging out in the background of the latest developer update. The new Belle can be seen on the far left about 25 seconds into the video, and she looks completely different from her original Dreamlight Valley look.
The Reddit post shows a comparison picture of Belle before and after this update. Belle's shoulders and arms appear more natural and relaxed, and her facial features and hair have a more rounded and friendly appearance.
Update 12 for Disney Dreamlight Valley is releasing on Aug. 21, bringing players new characters and Act Three of the Rift in Time Expansion.
Belle first joined in the Enchanted Adventure update of September 2023. The update introduced Belle and the Beast, along with a number of new quests and features connected to their story. Fans of the game have been criticizing her awkward appearance in the game since she was revealed, stating that she veers dangerously close to the uncanny valley.
