According to a recent podcast with Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grub, Eidos Interactive has some major plans for their Deus Ex franchise.

If the rumors are to be believed, the developers, who are in the process of being purchased by Embracer Group, want to “do what Cyberpunk 2077 couldn’t.”If this news is true, fans of the classic Action RPG could have an incredible experience to look forward to in the future.

After spending time discussing why the sale happened, they shifted their focus to Eidos Montreal’s Action RPG franchise.Grub revealed:Considering that the last game in the franchise was Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, fans of the series would no doubt be excited to get a game that could compare or compete with Cyberpunk 2077.The publisher, according to Jeff Grub, has some major plans along the way, as they want to show that they can do what CD PROJEKT RED could not.
