In the latest This Week at Bungie, the studio went deeper into what the legendary campaign experience will entail and the rewards waiting at the end of missions for players who take on the challenge.
The Witch Queen is the newest major expansion to Destiny 2 and will see guardians finally face off with the Hive god of cunning Savathun in a battle roughly seven years in the making. Guardians will be tasked with entering the Hive queen's Throne World to discover how this being of Darkness stole the Light and is now wielding the Traveler's gift. Standing between guardians and Savathun will be the Hive guardians of the Lucent Brood, which have also been imbued with the Light.

As mentioned above, the newest This Week at Bungie takes a deep dive into the legendary campaign option and the rewards waiting for players who emerge victorious. First and foremost, legendary campaign missions will reward up to three extra chests for additional XP, world pool gear, upgrade modules, and glimmer. Missions will also reward Throne World armor and unlocks faster for players trying to reach the new soft level cap of 1500.
