In just over a week, Destiny 2's next major piece of endgame content, the Witch Queen pyramid raid, will launch, and alongside it, Bungie will also host a special raid race event where player fire teams compete to see who finishes said raid the fastest. Naturally, information about the specific release times is crucial at this point in time.
To that end, Bungie has now tweeted some pertinent details about the next Destiny 2 raid. The developer's official Twitter account has shared both power level requirements and the specific launch time for the event, with the promise of more information getting shared sometime next week.

According to Bungie, the raid will launch on March 5th, at 10 AM PST. For players from some other regions, this translates to 13:00 EST and 19:00 CET. Meticulous Guardians looking to complete the Pyramid raid on day one will have their work cut out for them, as the maximum necessary power level will cap out at 1530, which is a tall order compared to the new baseline of 1350.
While it may be a good idea to level up fast in Destiny 2 Season 16 to get to 1530 as soon as possible, it's worth remembering that raid releases come with Contest Mode enabled. This special raid race modifier effectively caps the players' power level, so that they're always 20 levels below regular enemies. This means that the boss will be at 1550 power level, with each preceding encounter capped at 10 levels below the next.
