Trespasser is a new Exotic Sidearm in Destiny 2, returning from Destiny alongside Season of the Haunted with a substantial rework. Like the original, Trespasser deals Arc elemental damage, but a major change to the weapon is that Unrepentant is now the intrinsic trait of the weapon. After getting a final blow, Guardians can reload the weapon to activate the trait and deal substantial damage with a six-round-burst instead of three. Furthermore, Uprepentant will restart its 10-second cooldown once Guardians get another kill, but the effect wears off if the time runs out or if the next shot fails to kill a target.
As a Sidearm, the Trespasser can be used to take down Barrier Champions in Destiny 2, Season of the Haunted. After completing the introduction mission to the season's events and story, Guardians can pick up the Nightmare Harvester seasonal artifact, and they'll instantly unlock two of the 25 armor mods. The Anti-Barrier Champion mod for Sidearms can instantly be unlocked as well, making the Trespasser perfect for endgame activities like Lost Sectors or Nightfalls where the combatant type is present.
