Cataclysmic is a new Legendary Linear Fusion Rifle with a Precision Frame in Destiny 2, and its God Roll is a fantastic weapon that all Guardians should be looking to get. As part of the Vow of the Disciple Raid gear set, the only way Cataclysmic can be unlocked is by playing through certain encounters of Raid and earning it as a reward. Like all of the Vow of the Disciple Raid weapons, players can also craft the new Linear Fusion Rifle once they've completed enough Deepsight Resonance extractions for the pattern.
Although there aren't many Liner Fusion Rifles in Destiny 2, Cataclysmic is exceedingly rare because it deals Solar energy damage. Typically, the go-to weapon of this type is Sleeper Stimulant, but since Sleeper is an Exotic it limits the potential loadouts that players can use for endgame content in Master or Grandmaster PvE activities. Additionally, Cataclysmic also has access to some of the new weapon perks introduced in Season of the Risen and The Witch Queen expansion, giving players a few different options for the God Roll.
