The fifth week of challenges in Destiny 2 Season of the Risen is officially live, and although the seasonal story has already concluded there are plenty of changes included in the weekly reset. Although it is only the fifth week, the amount of challenges has dropped considerably as players will only need to complete six tasks in total. Additionally, despite the conclusion of the seasonal story, players will be to earn more Insight to further upgrade their War Table rewards in the H.E.L.M.
The challenges in Season of the Risen for week five should be easy to complete for those who have been keeping up weekly activities since the launch of The Witch Queen expansion. In fact, Guardians may find that some of the challenges are already completed since two of them have backtracking progression, allowing players to immediately claim their rewards. Furthermore, two challenges reward Insight in week five, allowing players to get better rewards from the War Table in the H.E.L.M. by redeeming Umbral Engrams.

Although there aren't any specific Crucible or Gambit-related challenges, players will have to ultimately defeat a certain percentage of fellow Guardians and can earn bonus progress for defeating them with Void 3.0 abilities in Destiny 2. Furthermore, bonus Gambit Rank points can be earned this week, making it much easier to complete The Drifter's seasonal rewards and earn the Reckless Endangerment Seasonal weapon. Vow of the Disciple Raid challenges have also begun, adding another level of difficulty to the new Witch Queen expansion activity.
