Warning! Spoilers ahead for Dark Crisis #1
DC's Dark Crisis is kicking off with Deathstroke finally fulfilling his very first contract to kill his oldest foes. Recently resurrected and out for blood, Slade Wilson is in command of an entire army of supervillains and is planning to take full advantage of the Justice League's demise. As seen in the very first issue of Dark Crisis, Deathstroke may have already killed a major DC hero (with more to likely follow).
Ahead of Dark Crisis #1 from Joshua Williamson and Daniel Sampere, Deathstroke became King of the Supervillains to prepare for the coming crisis so DC's foes could maintain their wealth and power (even if that meant working alongside heroes to defend reality). That being said, the events of Shadow War resulted in a massive shift in Slade's priorities. Framed for the murder of Ra's al Ghul, Slade was killed by the Daughter of the Demon Talia who sought revenge for her father's death. While Slade was resurrected by his followers via the supernatural Lazarus Pits, their currently cursed status seems to have created a much darker Deathstroke than has even been seen before.

Now that the DC Universe is reeling from the death of the Justice League, it seems as though Slade is ready to strike in the new Dark Crisis #1. Unleashing the full might of his army on Titans Tower, Deathstroke is taking advantage of the fact that his oldest foes won't have the League to back them up. Case in point, the issue teases Slade killing Beast Boy in cold blood while intending to destroy the Teen Titans and their legacy once and for all (just like he was originally contracted to do back in his DC Comics debut).
