Rob Liefield, who created Deadpool, is giving some cryptic responses about the Doctor Strange 2 poster. The X-Men are on their way to the MCU, and so is Wade Wilson, a.k.a. Deadpool. Following Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox, Deadpool became one of many X-Men characters that the studio got access to for their Marvel properties. While there was uncertainty if Ryan Reynolds' character was done, many were surprised when it was revealed that a Deadpool 3 is not only in the works but will be set within the MCU and still have an R-rating.
While there haven't been any updates since 2021, Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin and Wendy Molyneux are attached as screenwriters with Reynolds involved in overseeing the script. Exactly how Deadpool makes it into the MCU has so far not been clarified since the initial announcement. However, one theory that is floating around is that Reynolds is reprising his role in Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness. Following the release of its latest poster, there is one particular glass shot that looks suspiciously a lot like Deadpool with previously used marketing material. Whether or not this is actually happening remains to be seen for the time being.

With fans speculating heavily about Deadpool's potential MCU debut through Doctor Strange 2, his creator Liefield is having fun on social media. As many are doing speculative pieces about Reynolds' possible appearance, Liefield has been sharing cryptic responses while not saying definitively if this is happening or not. If Liefield knew what was happening, he would likely not be able to say much anyway due to NDAs, but also for the sake of not spoiling something huge
