In a DC Universe where vampires are turning heroes into blood-sucking monsters, the Lord of Vampires was just revealed to be Nightwing. In a shocking twist in DC vs. Vampires #6 by DC Comics, it turns out Dick Grayson is the Bat-Family member who was secretly a vampire — as the former hero goes on a killing spree like never before.
In the DC vs. Vampires limited series from DC Comics, the Justice League has been slowly dismantled as a vampire Hal Jordan's Green Lantern turned (and killed) some of the greatest heroes on Earth. In response, the Bat-Family have prepared to take on the vampires, banding together as more heroes, including Wonder Woman and Superman, become their deadly enemies. However, it's just been revealed there's a traitor in the midst on Batman's team — and in a big way. Not only is Nightwing a vampire in disguise, but he reveals himself as the new Lord of Vampires.

In DC vs. Vampires #6 by James Tynion IV, Matthew Rosenberg, Otto Schmidt, Simone Di Meo, Danielle Di Nicuolo, Rex Lokus, and Tom Napolitano, the Bat-Family alongside Green Arrow successfully take down the vampire Green Lantern. However, before he disappears for good, he warns them a king will soon step forward, and more vampires will emerge from the shadows. As Batman and the heroes finally gain the upper hand in the war against vampires, Nightwing punches his hand through Batman's chest and reveals himself as the Lord of Vampires.
