DC Comics features a seemingly infinite catalog of heroes, villains, and everything else in between. Though the characters primarily feature human or human-shaped beings, there is a stunning amount of empowered pets, supernatural wildlife, and the occasional evil animal.
Krypto the Superdog and Ace the Bathound lead the upcoming DC League of Super-Pets, along with Chip the Squirrel, Merton the Turtle, and PB the pig. The team is made up of classic super-powered animals, some of which have been remixed in interesting ways to fit the new canon. Though almost all of these animals do have comic book roots, there are tons of other bizarre animal characters in DC's canon that fans want to see more of.

Adopted by the Batman family in 2012, this animal may lack any sort of superpower, but that just makes her fit in better amongst her new keepers. Bat-Cow, also known as the Battlin' Bovine, is a cow that Damian Wayne rescued from a slaughterhouse and adopted as his own. Batman and Robin keep the kind creature in a barn on Wayne Manor's massive landscape.
Bat-Cow was set to be part of a large-scale mind control scheme by Talia al Ghul's Leviathan Organization. The evil political outfit intended to poison Gotham's food with mind control chemicals via a popular fast-food chain. Batman took Bat-Cow for testing in order to dismantle that evil plot, and Robin became attached. Robin's friendship with Bat-Cow led the young ward to embrace vegetarianism. The heroes presumably watch over her to this day, and she's popped up in TV shows like Teen Titans GO!.
