The fans have been pining for more Daredevil ever since Netflix canceled the show shortly after season 3 aired in the fall of 2018. It appears thatDisney Plus has listened to the outcries.
Factoring in that the Marvel Netflix shows have now been added to the streaming service, Charlie Cox made a cameo as the Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Vincent D'Onofrio reprised his role as Kingpin in Hawkeye. So, seemed like only a matter of time until Disney resurrected the critically acclaimed Daredevil. Now it appears they finally are.

Variety reported that Marvel Studios has started developing a new Daredevil series for the Disney Plus streaming service. Not many details have been released about the show, but Matt Corman and Chris Ord, both of whom co-created the show Covert Affairs starring Piper Perabo from 2010 to 2014, have been attached to write and produce. Even those details have yet to be confirmed by Disney. Reports have yet to indicate if Cox or D'Onofrio will reprise the roles they played back when the show was on Netflix, but it's highly likely given that they have been featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This news also begs the question if Elden Henson will return as Foggy Nelson or if Deborah Ann Woll will return as Karen Page. With how season 3 ended, one can't also help but wonder if Wilson Bethel will return as Bullseye or if Ayelet Zura will return as Vanessa Fisk.
