Dancing With Myself: Nick Jonas Replacing Shaq As Dance Creator
A recent announcement about NBC's new dance competition show, Dancing With Myself, declared actress Liza Koshy and former American professional basketball player Shaquille O'Neal as dance creators, but Nick Jonas is now set to replace O'Neal. Dancer, singer and songwriter Shakira is the show's main judge, and she was the inspiration behind the show due to her viral «Girl Like Me» dance challenge in 2020. The show will be different from NBC's recently canceled World Of Dance, as Dancing With Myself will have its contestants compete in a series of challenges that will be created by the show's dance creators. The contestants will be placed in isolated pods and will be given a specific time to learn the dance and perform in front of a live audience. At the end of the episode, the audience will decide who the best dancer is, and that person will be awarded a cash prize.
On March 15, Shakira posted a video announcement on her official Twitter page where she shared that Koshy and O'Neal would be accompanying her on the show. In addition to this, Shakira also mentioned that American model and film actress Camille Kostek would be hosting the show. The announcement received positive comments from Shakira's fans, and a few fans even mentioned that they were happy to see the «Shak» and «Shaq» pair working together.
