Multitudes of players of Call of Duty: Warzone are unfortunately familiar with hackers and cheaters. Unfortunately, the game has had a cheater problem since its launch, and it seems that those cheaters are now getting a little more creative.
Typically, in first-person shooters like Call of Duty: Warzone, players see hacks aimed around things like seeing through walls or eliminating incoming damage. However, at least one player is now scoring dozens of kills through an unusual melee cheat.
Call of Duty: Warzone Clip Shows Player's Poor Attempt at Hiding Their Cheats
As shared on Reddit by Call of Duty: Warzone player Rip-Falcon, the new hack is disconcerting. The gameplay clip starts with the user's team conversing over the obvious hacker, as the player reportedly has 40 kills in a single round. Throughout the clip, the users discuss the cheater, while teammate after teammate is killed off and shuffled to the gulag. However, despite knowing that a cheater was around, they nonetheless were taken off-guard when the cheater comes for them.
While standing on a cliffside high up, they look down and see the cheater beneath them. After exchanging fire, they back up, lying in wait. Although they might have had a chance of taking them by surprise when they came up over the edge, instead the player is taken by surprise themselves, with the cheater suddenly launching over the edge and moving towards them at absurdly fast speeds before cutting them down with their melee attack.
