Black Cat's "Iron Cat" Adventures Get Explosive In New Marvel Tease

Iron Man and Black Cat are teaming up in a new series featuring Iron Cat's armor going rogue, as Felicia Hardy's explosive adventures take center stage in a new preview. On Twitter, writer Jed MacKay shared a fresh look at Iron Cat #1 by Marvel Comics, where the popular antihero's upcoming high-octane adventures are teased. The comic is set to feature some explosive action starring Black Cat.

In Jed MacKay and Carlos Villa's run on Black Cat, Marvel's greatest thief received her own Iron Man-like armor, becoming the Iron Cat. Felicia Hardy made the armor from Tony Stark's Nanoforge, but never sported the Iron Cat armor herself, as it was controlled remotely by the antihero. Now, someone else has gained control of the Iron Cat armor, and Iron Man and Black Cat are teaming up to ensure it doesn't cause more destruction. However, a new preview shows it won't be easy for the pair to stop the new Iron Cat.

shared a new look at Iron Cat #1 from Marvel Comics on his Twitter account. MacKay called the two panels from artist Pere Perez and colorist Frankie D'Armata a «nuclear flex in using two different styles.» The preview features Felicia Hardy on a motorcycle, with her hair blowing in the wind. In contrast, the other page features Black Cat jumping out of an explosive situation, presumably against the Iron Cat. Check out the preview in the tweet from MacKay below.
