Daemon X Machina is getting a sequel and I am here for it
The 2023 Summer of Streams™ kicked off yesterday with a bang (or was it a whimper) with the Sony presentation that highlighted some hotly anticipated games and reminded this writer that Dragon’s Dogma II was actually in development.
There were some highlights to the show, but the only stream I’ve been focused on this year is the Marvelous Game Showcase. Marvelous and Xseed Games are one of my favorite developer/publisher combos out there, so when they have new games to announce, I pay attention.
And I’m glad I was paying attention to the stream today because Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion capped off the showcase. Okay, so it’s one of those terrible pre-rendered teaser trailers that I usually make fun of.
But at least this game is happening. And why shouldn’t it? According to Marvelous, Daemon X Machina sold “very well” on Nintendo Switch.
