Players still have to grapple with style over substance in Cyberpunk 2077, with some folk fed up that they can't wear the best gear without looking like they fell into their wardrobe. This sentiment was expressed by Twitter user Ren Okage, who says they cannot get back into Cyberpunk 2077 "until it has a transmog system." This comment was quickly followed up by the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account that simply replied with the "eyes" emoji.

Not only that, but the Quest Director for Cyberpunk 2077 - Pawel Sasko - also replied to Okage's comment with the "eyes" emoji, hinting at the possible announcement of another update coming for the game in which a transmog system might be included. Obviously, this isn't confirmation, but it's unlikely that Sasko and the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account would react in such a way if it didn't have something in the works.
It's clear that CD Projekt Red has been working on a transmog system for Cyberpunk 2077 for some time now. Earlier this year when Update 1.5 first dropped, Redditors quickly discovered that the framework for a transmog system was found within the update's code, letting players hide face and head gear if they input certain console commands. While the feature is pretty barebones, it did indicate that CD Projekt Red was looking to fix the issue.
