Paradox Interactive has announced that Crusader Kings 3 will launch on PlayStation 5and Xbox Series X/Sin March. Crusader Kings 3 is a strategy game that is set in the Middle Ages, with the player able to choose from a massive range of rulers as they attempt to create a dynasty that will build an empire.
There are some strategy games that put the player in the role of a nameless commander or monarch, who rules over a side and controls each unit. In Crusader Kings 3, the player controls the current ruler of a faction. The personality and individual traits of the ruler are vitally important, as is their connection to other nobles, and their own family. Crusader Kings 3 is about creating a powerful family, which is often easier said than done, and a lack of suitable heirs is the quickest way to destroy an ancient and mighty dynasty.

Crusader Kings 3 is currently available on PC, Linux, and macOS, but Paradox Interactive promised that console ports of Crusader Kings 3 were on the way. Paradox Interactive revealed in a private press event that the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of Crusader Kings 3 will launch on March 29, 2022. The console versions of Crusader Kings 3 have had their UI and control scheme reworked, in order to make the game playable using a controller.
