A recent fan mod adds the highly requested Crash Bandicoot to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Nintendo’s massive mascot crossover fighting game series has seen plenty of guest appearances from third-party characters like Sonic The Hedgehog and Final Fantasy VII’s Cloud Strife, and there is no shortage of fans requesting additional gaming icons for Smash’s ever-growing roster. Brawl creator Masahiro Sakurai revealed that the final DLC guest character to be coming to the game would not be Crash, but the equally-requested Sora from the Kingdom Hearts series. Sakurai later revealed that he would be taking a break from Super Smash Bros for the time being, meaning that fans will have to wait for quite some time before Crash could appear in a new Super Smash Bros. game, at least officially.
