RHONJ: Why Margaret Confronted Jennifer Aydin About Bill's Affair Rumor
Margaret Josephs decided to confront Jennifer Aydin on the premiere episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 12 about her husband Bill's alleged affair because of her "hypocrisy." Since Jennifer joined RHONJ for season 9 almost four years ago, she and Margaret have never been the closest of friends. Jennifer never approved of the way Margaret and her husband, Joe Benigno, met and found it odd that she would talk about it so openly.
As the seasons went on, Margaret and Jennifer continued to fight with each other. Margaret thought Jennifer was nothing more than a wife and a mother who had no other hobbies outside of taking care of her family life. As for Jennifer, she thought it was inappropriate that Margaret not only had an affair with her now-husband but once slept with her boss when she was just starting her career. Even though they have tried to make amends, it seems Margaret and Jennifer will never be friends.

While promoting RHONJ season 12, Margaret spoke with Page Six about why she decided to confront Jennifer about the affair rumors pertaining to her husband, Bill, at Teresa Giudice's pool party. In the premiere episode that aired on February 1, Margaret, who won't be invited to Teresa's wedding, got Jennifer to reveal that Bill once had an affair with a pharmaceutical rep. "I mean, I knew it to be true," the 53-year-old said to the news outlet. "I’ve known for a long time. You’ve seen me in previous seasons; I hit a nerve, like, I’ve known this.
