Coveted, One-of-a-Kind Final Fantasy 7 LEGO Set Sold for a Ridiculous Sum | Push Square
pushsquare.comIn January, Square Enix asked fans to vote on a scene from the legendary Final Fantasy VII to be transformed into LEGO form, and the iconic Sector 5 Slums Church, where Cloud fatefully encounters Aerith for the first time, won in a landslide. As far as we are aware, only two sets have ever been made: One is kept in a sealed vault inside Square Enix, alongside a finished 2D-HD remaster of Chrono Trigger (probably), and the other just sold at auction for $12,500.
As reported by GamesRadar+, this seemingly one-of-a-kind set is now in a super fan's home. You can offer to take it off their hands, with bids starting at just over $16k. We hope a couple of LEGO barrels were included to be dropped from the rafters to deter Shinra soldiers; we'd have a hell of a time playing with this pricey piece.

Not really anywhere near worth it. Maybe if it was the entire sector of Midgar from the beginning of the game I would pay $200 for it, maybe.
Really hate how Lego which was meant to be reasonable and for kids to enjoy has become an adult collectors hobby with insanely high prices.
That said It is a well built set.
Just wait for the 4000 replicas on Etsy. Haha.
