The more we hear about Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, the more we’re wondering if this game will be something worth playing or whether it’ll be a hot mess. When the title was first unveiled via the pandemic-born DC Fandome, fans were excited! This was the following to the games that Rocksteady did with Batman, and fans trusted that they would do well with the Suicide Squad. However, delays kept pushing the game’s release date back more and more, and then, some more recent insights into the title have made fans wonder if Rocksteady knows what they’re doing. And now, there are rumors of DLC.
The rumor festered on Twitter and Reddit, where an insider named Miller Ross seemed to imply that Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will not only get multiple waves of DLC content but that the content will feature other DC Comics villains being played within the context of the squad. The first name that he dropped was Killer Croc. Also known as “Waylon Jones” before his transformation, he’s one of the many villains in Batman’s Rogues Gallery. Yes, he has been in the Suicide Squad before, including in the DCEU movie and the comics that were made to “tie in” to the movie.
While this isn’t confirmed in the slightest, it would make sense that DLC is coming to the game. Plus, while it may seem superfluous, it would make sense that Rocksteady would have extra characters” at the ready” for a basic reason. Part of the “function” of the Suicide Squad is that someone is always “ready” to take their place when someone dies. After all, there’s never a short supply of villains in a superhero universe, right?
