Season 4 is live in Call of Duty: Warzone 2, and the big update puts some restrictions on DMZ's bartering system that was introduced in Season 3. Here we walk you through the best recipes in Season 4, and we explain how to unlock the restricted barter recipes in the Buy Station.
DMZ's barter system isn't player-to-player trading, but more of a way to swap scavenged items at a Buy Station to trade for something else you need. This bartering is done using recipes, which are component lists needed to receive the new items.
These recipes are found at the Buy Stations around the maps, and they are set lists that can be memorized for easy bartering. Most recipes will be common across all maps, but Building 21 and Ashika Island locations each have a few of their own unique sets of barter options across its Buy Stations, but we'll highlight the important ones here.
Additionally, Season 4 now restricts some of the high-end items that were previously available in Season 3. The recipes didn't change from last season, but even if you have the components needed to trade, some items are locked as restricted items in the Buy Station.
You'll quickly realize several barter items are locked in the Buy Station. The ability to barter for these restricted items must be unlocked in the Bounty Board section of DMZ's new Upgrades menu by reaching reputation level two of the White Lotus faction. Faction reputation is the new way to level up in DMZ for Season 4, and we have a full guide on how to level up faction reputation.
The following items below are locked in the Buy Station:
