For example, one Animal Crossing: New Horizons player has set up a special Build-A-Bear style store within their home, absolutely nailing their tribute to the stuffed animal maker.
Taking inspiration from Build-A-Bear with an Animal Crossing: New Horizons creation is fitting considering the real-world partnership between Nintendo and the company. Last year, Build-A-Bear released official Animal Crossing products based on Isabelle and Tom Nook, with players able to purchased stuffed toys based on the two characters. With winter outfit options eventually released, too, the partnership could be deemed a success. Though the two characters proved to be popular, selling out and being restocked fairly quickly, one complaint was a lack of options to choose from. When it comes to the shop run by Reddit user SaltMineForeman, though, customers are spoiled for choice.

While there are some stuffed bear items that can be collected within Animal Crossing: New Horizons, there are only a few options, which is a far cry from the actual Build-A-Bear. Fortunately, SaltMineForeman had the perfect substitute, as they used the many Gyroids added within New Horizons' 2.0 update for their shop. Calling it “Build-A-Gyroid,” the area looks just like one would expect a Build-A-Bear store to look like, as the Redditor knocked it out of the park when creating the room.
