Clear Cut Trailer: Alec Baldwin & Clive Standen Star in Lionsgate Action Movie
Lionsgate has unveiled the trailer, showcasing the star-studded cast of the action thriller. Set to hit theaters on July 19, the upcoming film will follow a logger suddenly embroiled in a dangerous situation when he and his team discover an illegal lab in the forest.
The newly released trailer promises an intense and violent thriller starring some of the movie industry’s big names. Clear Cut centers on a man named Jack, a logger in the Pacific Northwest, whose seemingly ordinary day at work turned into a dangerous game of survival when he and the rest of his team discovered a drug cartel hidden in the forest. He now must fight his way back to civilization before it’s too late.
“Every moment is fraught with danger for Jack, a seasoned logger who finds himself battling not just the elements but a ruthless band of criminals. After inadvertently discovering a meth cook site, Jack and his team become targets for a drug cartel intent on eliminating witnesses. The film chronicles Jack’s desperate struggle to evade his pursuers and make it back to civilization alive,” the official synopsis for Clear Cut reads.

The upcoming action thriller boasts an ensemble cast of Clive Standen (Vikings), Alec Baldwin (Mission: Impossible – Fallout), Lucy Martin (Prizefighter: The Life of Jem Belcher), Jesse Metcalfe (John Tucker Must Die), Tom Welling (Smallville), Lochlyn Munro (Totally Killer), Chelsey Reist (Embrace of the Vampire), Tom Stevens (Jailbreak Lovers), Mike Dopud (Virtual Revolution), and Stephen Dorff (Old Henry).
Brian Skiba (Deadly Excursion) directed the upcoming feature based on a script written by Joe Perruccio.
In addition to its theatrical release on July 19, Clear Cut will also be available on digital platforms and on-demand on the same day.
