Class Sets Coming to the Trading Post
Class specific weapon and armor sets appear to be coming to the Trading Post! As highlighted in This Week in WoW, a new article coming out later today promises more detail, but it would seem incredibly likely that this will be the method of acquiring the class specific weapon and armor sets we've been datamining over the last few Dragonflight PTR cycles! The Monk Possessed Watcher set is Mogu themed, with Brewmasters carrying their traditional keg-staff and Windwalkers wielding a vicious war fan. We previously began datamining these sets during the Patch 10.1 PTR, beginning with special weapon models for each specialization — not just one per class. The 10.1.7 PTR went further, adding special class specific armor sets to match those weapon models, along with their associated in-game items — giving them official names and confirming that the weapons and armor sets do indeed go together!Each of the sets comes in two colors, including a class specific helmet, belt, and shoulder, as well as a different weapon for each specialization. So far though, we've only discovered the Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Druid, Monk, Priest, Warlock, and Warrior sets, making it unclear whether Blizzard intends to release all of the sets simultaneously in August, or roll them out individually over the next few months.
