Many players have been looking forward to the Diablo 4 Server Slam Weekend, taking place May 12th (12 PM PDT) through May 14th (12 PM PDT). Since your characters from any previous Diablo 4 betas will not be available during the Slam, which of the five Diablo 4 classes should you pick? You'll only be able to go as high as level 20, but if you're diligent, you'll be able to try out more than one! Even if you only have time to experiment with one class, which should it be? Introduction to Diablo 4 ClassesIn Diablo 4, you can choose from among 5 different classes:
Barbarian — close-quarters berserkers wielding the largest variety of weapons available to any class Druid — shapeshifting fighters, nature-wielding casters, or both at the same time Rogue — experts at subterfuge with choices of melee or ranged, stealth, and traps Necromancer — casters using the powers of blood, bone, or armies of undead minions Sorcerer — magical adepts harnessing the powers of fire, lightning, and iceAs an ARPG that's meant to be played in both solo and group content, there isn't the emphasis on group roles and utility that there is in MMORPGs.
