The CW has released the official synopsis for the final episode of Charmed season 4 which will also serve as the series finale of the reboot. The original Charmed, which follows a trio of sisters who are good witches known as The Charmed Ones, ran for 8 seasons on The WB from 1998 through 2006. The CW's reboot launched in 2018, starring Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffery, and Madeleine Mantock. Strangely mirroring the exit of Shannen Doherty from the original series and her replacement with Rose McGowan, Mantock left after season 3, with a new Charmed One played by Lucy Barrett taking her place.
Charmed was not allowed the time to get back on its feet as it entered season 4, which premiered on March 11, 2022. After internal drama at The CW as its parent companies prepared to potentially put the network up for sale, many series that were being kept on the bubble were abruptly canceled, including Dynasty, Legacies, Roswell, New Mexico, and Charmed, meaning that season 4 will now be the series' final season. The finale episode, titled «The End is Never the End,» is set to air on The CW on June 10, 2022.
