Cyberpunk 2077 did not have the best first impression for many of its players. The game suffered from one of the most publicly criticized launches in gaming's recent history, with many PS4 and Xbox One players unable to play the game, as well as current-gen and PC owners experiencing a wealth of bugs and other problems as they tried to explore the story and world of Night City. However, things have gotten progressively better with time for the game, especially with the release of Patch 1.5 that saw some major changes to Cyberpunk 2077.
After CD Projekt Red, the studio behind Cyberpunk 2077, announced that it would be working on a new Witcher game, many assumed that the work on the former title would be slowing down. However, a recent stream by CD Projekt Red's Quest Director Pawel Sasko may prove otherwise. In his livestream, Sasko was asked by chat about future updates and what they may look like, to which the developer responded that he and the team are aware of «work to be done» on Cyberpunk 2077.

Sasko wasn't able to give away many specific details on what updates may look like, though he did speak a bit more on the matter of Cyberpunk 2077's future improvements. The Quest Director said that he was reviewing new quest ideas on a daily basis, responding to some fans who wondered why not every major character from the Cyberpunk 2077 initial setting showed up in the game. There was also a nod to Patch 1.5, something that Sasko said gave his team an incentive to keep working for future updates.
