After the long-awaited return of the series in , players will soon discover the mysterious Mermaid Ripples. You will not know what these are when beginning the game, but you can unlock their secrets. The series is filled with small puzzles that reward upgrade materials, weapons, and armor. The importance of this loot is excellent in the third installment, with an overhaul to the combat system.
A specific key item called the Shell Phone is needed to interact with the ripples. This is a reward from a Mermaid and can be tricky to find. There are a total of eight ripples, and each will reward a piece of armor and weapon. You may want to wait before embarking on this side quest in , as there are relatively strong enemies guarding the Mermaid's location.
Finding Dratcula as you attempt to navigate Eight Bit Castle can feel a little daunting if you do not know where to go in Cat Quest II.
As mentioned before, you must obtain the Shell Phone before you can do anything with the ripples. However, you can still interact with them even though it won't do anything. The Mermaid is located on a large landmass up north in the Sunset Islands. She is behind a wooden barricade, and you will need to shoot. There will be two ships and three swimming enemies in front.
You will want to be around level 40 and have some ship upgrades before trying to rescue the Mermaid.
