Castle Duels: Tower Defense has dropped a new update, which is 3.0. And with this update, the game is also officially available for players worldwide. It soft launched in select regions in June 2024. Update 3.0 has new features with new challenges and adventures.
One of the biggest additions is the introduction of clans, which finally gives you a way to team up with others. It opens up a ton of possibilities. You can trade units, send rewards to your entire clan and buy items from the clan store.
If you’re up for PvP, you can also practice your skills through training battles. You can join or create a clan once you hit Arena 2.
Next up in Castle Duels: Tower Defense 3.0 is the Clan Tournament. Clans of five face off and whoever completes the daily quests faster gets the top prize. It’s open for you if you’ve reached Arena 5.
Raphael is now Angel, Knight of Light is Risen and Forestlord is Woodbeard. Angel’s role as a support and healer has been revamped. Now instead of boosting damage, Angel restores health. Similarly, Riding Hood is now a damage dealer with long-range attacks.
The Golem, which was previously more of a jack-of-all-trades, has had its ability range reduced to better match its melee warrior role. Meanwhile, Fighter has shifted to a Defense role, with a new ability that repels opponents and reduces their damage.
In terms of looks, some units have gotten a visual update to make them stand out more, especially as they climb the merge ranks. Units like Pirate, Alchemist, Poison Frog, Combat Engineer and Vampire now have a fresh new look.
Have you tried Castle Duels: Tower Defense yet? It’s a tower defense game with PvP gameplay and card-based units. Catch a glimpse of the game below and check it out on the Google Play Store.
