A truck driver finds herself drawn into a dark and dangerous world in Paradise Highway. The film centers on Juliette Binoche's Sally as she goes on the run with a teenage girl named Leila to save her from a life of human trafficking and sex slavery.
Alongside Binoche, the cast for Paradise Highway includes Cameron Monaghan, Morgan Freeman, Frank Grillo, Hala Finley, Veronica Ferres and Christiane Siedel.

Ahead of the film's release, Screen Rant spoke exclusively with star Cameron Monaghan to discuss Paradise Highway, the film's darker subject matter, working with Morgan Freeman and his potential Star Wars future.
Screen Rant: Paradise Highway is quite the interesting film in that it deals with some really heavy subject matter. What was it about the film that really drew you to the project?
Cameron Monaghan: Well, I think that that's what was amazing about the script when I first read it. Our director, Anna Gutto, also wrote the script as well and there's a human element to it, there's a beauty to these characters, beyond the fact that it is dealing with extremely, extremely heavy subject matter that I thought was really amazing. It could be very easy when you have a story about sexual slavery and human trafficking, specifically involving children, for it to feel unpalatable and like a chore to watch. There was also a lightness and beauty to these moments. Our main characters played by Juliet Binoche and Hala Finley have this wonderful dynamic between this woman who is a truck driver and this young girl.
That dynamic of this heaviness and this interest mixed with this humanity was also reflected in my character, who was a young FBI
