From the outside looking in, Call of Duty Zombies is a simple game mode that tasks players with surviving until the highest round possible. For those that have actually spent time with the mode, though, it is clear just how complex it really is. Well-hidden Easter eggs and side quests provide hours of content on each map, with complex stories told that span multiple games and cover everything from mythology to alternate dimensions.
Over the years, there have been many Call of Duty Zombies maps released, and not all of the Easter eggs, modes, and weapons that Treyarch initially plan out make the cut. Over the years, dataminers have found some incredibly interesting cut content from the various CoD Zombies modes, and some of it would have been a lot of fun to experience. Fortunately, if the long-rumored Zombies Chronicles 2 actually happens, Treyarch would have a chance to restore some of this content.

If a Zombies Chronicles 2 ever became a reality, the one map fans would be most interested to see again is TranZit. Since this map was held back by the technology of the PS3 and Xbox 360, Treyarch’s ambitious plans could not be realized. Not only did this result in an ugly map covered by fog, as it was the only way to get the open world-like play space to run properly, but some interesting content had to be cut as well.
If TranZit got remade, Treyarch could restore this cut content, which would include the Power Station Survival map. All of TranZit’s other points of interest received smaller, separate maps, with Bus Depot, Farm, and Town being round-based and Diner hosting the Turned game mode.
